Name: Susan Dog: Missy Over 2 years ago, I had a 1 year old 85 pound Boxer, I loved but feared I eventually would have to re-home as she was so full of love but she also was so full of energy that a daily walk was not enough for her. So my mom suggested I send her to a Doggie Daycare. I remember rolling my eyes at my mom as I had visions of a Hollywood Starlet and her dog walker, and realistically I thought I could not afford it. I consulted my Vet on what to do about my overly energetic Boxer baby. My Vet suggested I send her to Doggie Daycare as well. So I ask a few dog lovers at work to see if they could recommend a doggie daycare to check out. All Wags was the 1st option everyone mentioned, so I thought this many people can't be wrong. So I called All Wags, I was delighted with the option of the "$5" first day. So I thought what do I have to lose? $5. So I completed all the paperwork online and I got up 30 minutes early and took my Boxer baby to Doggie Daycare. I had never left Missy with anyone other than the Vet the day she was spayed. So I was very nervous as she was quite shy and timid, a little girl in a big body. I must have given Karen 5 contact numbers, even my mom in KY in case there was a problem. I was brave and did not call all day, which killed me. When I finally arrived at All Wags, I was happy to find Missy was ok and so was I. She did play in the Little Paws (for Small Dogs) area, which told me that Karen, Tyler, Freddie, and the rest of the team really did know dogs, but more importantly cared about dogs. When we arrived home that night, Missy was so tired, I could not believe how calm the evening was at our house. So my husband and I decided to take Missy once a week on Wednesdays. The first few weeks Missy was just excited to get into the car to go for a ride and then one morning, I realized she had taken her Pink Bunny and put it by the door in anticipation of going to "School" as we call it. This is when I knew it was love. She wakes me up some Wednesday mornings at 5am, way too early, ready to go see her "Friends." For my husband and I, it was a relief to know we have somewhere safe for Missy to stay when we want to go on vacation overseas or take a day trip. She is not left in a kennel for hours on end, like other boarding facilities. Also, Josh and Brooks are great when I call from Mexico to check on her. They reassure me without making me feel silly that I treat Missy like a child. Lastly, I would like to say the money I spend on Doggie Daycare will decrease the amount I pay the Vet as Missy gets older. A fit, happy, healthy dog has a longer life expectancy. So the bottom line is ALL WAGS is worth every penny!!! I can't thank you all enough for all you have done for me and Missy.

The decision to become a really good dog owner was a serious one for me. Since moving to Charlotte over 11 years ago, I had always wanted to have dogs. I never became a dog owner until I knew the time was right and until I knew the situation would be the right one for the dogs I would own. Before I rescued and adopted my dogs from the Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Care and Control I did extensive research on Doggie Daycares in the Charlotte and surrounding area. I was never impressed with any of the facilities or staff at other doggie daycares until I discovered All Wags. There are not enough words to describe how excited I am to have found All Wags! My dogs are very excited in morning when they wake up, eat breakfast and pile into the car. We then drive to my mom’s house and pick up her dog Coyote. These dogs all have a daily routine and once in the car they KNOW they are heading to All Wags!
All four of them truly look forward to seeing all of the other dogs and spending time with Karen, Tyler, Freddie, Brooks, Jenna, Kelsey and all of the other amazing employees at All Wags. Like so many people, I have a very demanding & busy job that requires a lot of time away from home during the day and often on weekends. The thought of having to leave them at home all day is gut wrenching and would be so unfair to the dogs. If I left them at home alone they would be bored, get no exercise, and have no opportunity to interact with other dogs or humans. Knowing that I can have a complete worry-free day while at work and the dogs are at All Wags is such an incredible feeling and huge weight off my shoulders. I don’t have to worry about leaving them at home all day in my yard where someone could take them or even hurt them without me there. Without a doubt, I know they are happily playing and getting lots of attention and love on a daily basis. This is so much better than keeping them in a crate for over 10 hours a day.
All Wags has provided my furry children with exceptional care, tons of love, attention and constant companionship while I am at work. Because of All Wags, Luca, Snickers, Coyote & Vinnie are extremely loving, friendly, exhausted at the end of the day and most importantly HAPPY! The incredible staff at All Wags should be commended on their dedication and devotion for dogs and their excellent facility. Everyone at All Wags is part of our family and will be for many years to come.
